Action Against Child Exploitation(ACE) is a Japanese NGO working to address the issues of child labor around the world. ACE strives to solve the issue of child labor through engagement and partnership with local communities, businesses, and consumers. Its project areas include Japan, India, and Ghana.
Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs
The Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs (AFOP) has been an advocate for migrant and seasonal farmworkers in the United States since 1971. It’s mission is to improve the quality of life for migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families by providing advocacy for the member organizations that serve them. AFOP believes that training and education can provide the launching pad to a better and more stable life for the workers who plant, tend, and harvest the crops that Americans consume at their tables.
Bank Information Center
(BIC) partners with civil society in developing and transition countries to influence the World Bank and other international financial institutions (IFIs) to promote social and economic justice and ecological sustainability. The BIC is currently working to implement a “labor safeguard” at the World Bank that would help protect adult and child workers from the unintended consequences of Bank projects.
Beyond Borders
Beyond Border works to end child slavery and prevent violence against women and girls in Haiti. It also works to guarantee universal access to education and to replace systems that oppress the poor with systems that support dignified work and sustainable livelihoods.
Corporate Accountability Lab
Corporate Accountability Lab unleashes the creative potential of the law to protect people and the planet from corporate abuse. CAL was founded in response to the crisis of widespread corporate abuse of human rights and the environment and disappearing legal tools to hold corporations accountable. In the midst of this ongoing crisis, public interest lawyers and the broader social justice community are too often overburdened with work using existing tools and lack the time, resources, and space to come up with creative strategies for broad impact. CAL aims to change that.
East Coast Migrant Head Start
East Coast Migrant Head Start Project is committed to preparing the children of migrant and seasonal farm workers for success. It provides holistic, high-quality early childhood education services for children and families in a nurturing, culturally-sensitive environment, and by providing services and advocating for children and families in their other areas of need. It operates 38 centers and provides Head Start services to over 3,000 migrant children annually.
ECPAT-USA
ECPAT-USA is a leading anti-trafficking policy organization in the United States, belonging to an international network of organizations in 75 countries, all working to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children. For twenty-five years, policy makers, individuals, churches, and other organizations have looked to ECPAT-USA for leadership because of its groundbreaking work in protecting children from all forms of commercial sexual exploitation.
Fairtrade America
Fairtrade works to make trade more fair. Our standards require sustainable production and farming practices, improved working conditions, better prices and wages for farmers and workers, and more transparent trade practices. Fairtrade prohibits child labor, forced labor, GMOs, and encourages environmentally-friendly production.

Farmworker Justice
Farmworker Justice is a nonprofit organization that seeks to empower migrant and seasonal farmworkers to improve their living and working conditions, immigration status, health, occupational safety, and access to justice. Using a multi-faceted approach, Farmworker Justice engages in litigation, administrative and legislative advocacy, training and technical assistance, coalition-building, public education and support for union organizing.
The First Focus Campaign for Children
The First Focus Campaign for Children is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization affiliated with First Focus, a bipartisan children’s advocacy organization. The Campaign for Children advocates directly for legislative change in Congress to ensure children and families are a priority in federal policy and budget decisions. Mighty Earth
Mighty Earth is a global environmental campaign organization that works to protect forests, conserve oceans, and address climate change. We work to drive large-scale action towards environmentally responsible agriculture that protects native ecosystems, wildlife, and water, and respects local community rights. We focus on the big issues: conserving threatened landscapes like tropical rainforests, protecting oceans, and solving climate change. Migrant Legal Action Program
For more than 45 years, the Migrant Legal Action Program (MLAP) has provided legal representation and a national voice for migrant and seasonal farmworkers, the poorest group of working people in the United States. MLAP works to enforce rights and to improve public policies affecting farmworkers’ working and housing conditions, education, health, nutrition, and general welfare. The program works with an extensive network of local service providers.
National Advocacy Center of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd
The National Advocacy Center educates and develops strategies to address social justice issues and advocates for the transformation of society to the benefit of all people. National Association of State Directors of Migrant Education
NASDME is the professional organization of state officials charged with the administrative responsibilities of using their monies effectively and productively to help all migrant children succeed in school. NASDME provides its members ongoing information about events and activities, and offers new members training, guidance and counsel. It prepares publications to inform a wider audience about Migrant Education and represents the Migrant Education community in continuing dialogues with the Federal government.
National Consumers League
The mission of the National Consumers League (NCL) is to protect and promote social and economic justice for consumers and workers in the United States and abroad. A private, nonprofit advocacy group representing consumers on marketplace and workplace issues, NCL is the nation’s oldest consumer organization, providing government, businesses, and other organizations with the consumer’s perspective on concerns including worker rights, child labor, privacy, food safety, and medication information.

In union with farmworker families, the National Migrant and Seasonal Head Start association advocates for comprehensive, high-quality Head Start services with diverse stakeholders, paving the path stronger communities and the lifelong success of children and families. It serves nearly 30,000 migrant children and nearly 2,500 seasonal children annually and operates in 38 states in every region of the country.

Prime International-A Social Enterprise
PRIME International Social Enterprise specializes in labor rights and aligns policies and practices of businesses, governments, advocates, investors, and practitioners to eradicate child labor globally. With a focus on sustainable agriculture, PRIME provides technical assistance and training to businesses, civil society, and governments, to prevent child labor and enhance decent work, vocational skills, and employment opportunities for youth 15-17, who according to most country laws based on International labor standards, are legally old enough to work in non-hazardous conditions. Programs bring experts together to work with partners and businesses in reaching remote areas through community-led participation in local child labor monitoring systems and services.
United Methodist Church, Board of Church and Society
The United Methodist Church, General Board of Church and Society carries out a number of tasks on Capitol Hill. It encourages United Methodists to engage their representatives at the federal and state level through the UM Power Action Center. It develops yearly legislative priorities on issues of concern to United Methodists. It provides weekly chapel services to the community,and it regularly hosts seminar groups learning about the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church.
